Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11/20/2025
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Fight Anything platform, why we collect it, and how we use it. We keep this simple so you can actually read it.
1. Who controls your data?
Your data is currently controlled by the creator/owner of the Fight Anything platform. If the project later sits inside a company, that company will become the data controller, and we'll update this page.
2. What we collect
We collect the minimum we need to run the site:
- Account info: email, username, auth IDs from services like Firebase.
- Content you submit: fighter descriptions, bios, names, prompts, images, music links — anything you add.
- Usage data: logs, device/IP info, and in-app actions (e.g. which fighter you created or challenged) to keep the platform secure and to build features like leaderboards.
- Communication: if you email us, we keep that.
We do not intend to collect sensitive personal data. Please don't put personal info in fighter bios.
3. How we use your data
We use your info to:
- create and manage your account
- show your fighters, bouts, and history in the app
- secure the platform and prevent abuse
- build site features like stats, leaderboards, daily/weekly content
- contact you about your account or important changes
We may also aggregate/anonymise data to understand what fighters are popular and to improve the overall experience.
4. AI-generated content and logs
When you create a fighter or trigger a bout, we may send your prompts/descriptions to AI services (like OpenAI) to generate venue descriptions, fight narratives, or images. Those services will receive the text you send. We use them to generate the ridiculous content this platform is about.
By using the platform, you agree to that processing. Don't submit personal data in prompts — it's not needed here.
5. Sharing your data
We don't sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers that help us run the platform (hosting, analytics, AI, email, authentication). They only get the minimum they need.
We may also share data if required by law or to protect our rights or other users.
6. Data retention
We keep account data while you have an account. We may keep platform-level content (like fighters, bouts, stats) longer because it forms part of the game world and content library.
If you delete your account later, we may keep anonymised or aggregated content so highlight videos, leaderboards, and stories don't break.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical measures (e.g. Firebase auth, role checks) to protect your data, but no internet service is 100% secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Get in touch and we'll do what we reasonably can.
9. Children
The Service is not designed to collect personal data from children under 13. If you think a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we'll remove it where required.
